Sade Village

Sade is one of the hamlets in the village of Rembitan, Pujut, Central Lombok. This hamlet is known for preserving the traditions of the Sasak tribe. The Sasak Sade tribe is well-known among tourists who visit Lombok. The local Tourism Agency has designated Sade as a tourist village due to the uniqueness of Sade Village and its inhabitants, the Sasak people. Despite being located right next to a smooth, paved highway, the residents of Sade Village in Rembitan, Central Lombok, remain steadfast in preserving the village’s authenticity. It can be said that Sade is a reflection of the indigenous Sasak people of Lombok. Although electricity and the government’s National Program for Community Empowerment (PNPM) have been introduced, Sade Village still presents the atmosphere of an authentic, native Lombok village.
